The IHS Alumni community is organised as shown below. The current course participants are invited to join the Alumni Network by the Alumni Relations Office, during their time at IHS and especially at their graduation. Some of them join the active part of the alumni community. Some other alumni reconnect to IHS later after their graduation.

IHS Alumni International network is governed by a Board and supported by the IHS Alumni Relations Office (ARO), which, in addition to its main duties, acts as a secretariat to the board. The ARO is embedded in IHS and is formed of IHS staff and interns. The Alumni International Board oversees the activity of Local Alumni Associations and connects alumni through various events and initiatives.
